Matoada's Backstory:

A witch's apprentice, she always strived to be the best. She was on the verge of burnout due to the stress she put on herself. Everyone told her she was already great and could take a break. One night, while doing potion homework, she accidentally added too much toadstool. She mixed up grams and ounces. She intended to make an energy potion. Instead, she created a powerful transfiguration potion. It was so strong that no one could reverse the transformation.
At first, she panicked. She was above her studio apartment, which was located above a disco. Then, she realized that toads don't have as much responsibility as humans. She began to appreciate life's simple joys, like tasty flies and warm drinks.
Now, she's perfectly content as a toad. She enjoys life more than she ever did as a human. She's even joined the toad and frog rodeo, where they ride bullfrogs. She has a cozy home and a collection of teas and books.
Her true passion remains magic and potion brewing. She's become the wisest potion witch alive.
